Erm.. i didn’t expect law to stay till so late also.. i thought he will leave soon after dinner..
coz there’s still a number of instant pics left, they keep asking us to pose ard to take pic using that.
They keep using their PRO camera and help us take pic too. I’m really happy that there’s so many nice pics taken.
Their master pieces using the instant camera. I love it. But kinna worried that they’ll fade later..

Plan to go 拜 dad today but when we reached there, it was already closed. We later notice that the operating hours is 7am to 7pm. We reached there 7 plus.. So no choice, gonna go tml.
After dinner we start packing, checking and double check all the stuffs. We packed all most of the stuffs into 2 luggage. After packing, we still have to hand carried the clothes, hand bouquet and speaker. TYL still editing the montage..
We sleep late.. around 2am or 3am.. Don quite remember..

We left home to go拜 dad around 8am. Then after that, went to eat breakfast.
Well…The day has finally come. TYL called Crowne Plaza to check the availability of room # 909. Jesmi told us that she’ll block the room for us but in any case if there’s guest the night before and want to check out that day, we’ll have to check in at a later timing. Well we’re glad the room is empty and we’re able to check in early.
12pm+ I wake kor up to send us to Airport. He dropped us at the lobby and left home.

Reached! hmm.. the bell boy is missing. Nobody helps us to open the door and carry our stuffs. I wasn’t too happy about it coz we’re hand carrying so many things and have to pull the luggage. One of the staffs, an aunty, saw us carrying so many things, she came forward and give a helping hand though.
Then @ the lobby, I placed the stuffs @ the sofa while TYL went to check in. A Manager (I guess he’s a manager, he looks like one), saw us and he came forward to check what are the things required to bring to the room. He then called the bellboy over to help.
Things were loaded to the trolley and I finally can walk over to TYL (he’s still @ the counter checking in). TYL told he counter that #909 is booked for us, the counter staff was worried that she’ll released the block room to the wrong person as his NRIC didn’t indicate Nicholas. (TYL used Nicholas to book the Crowne Plaza package). The staff later asked for his English name and TYL ans Nicholas Tan, than she get the picture and then proceed.

YEA~! Reached the room!
1st thing is to slide the curtains and view the planes. The planes are parking at the Gates and able to view the planes taking off and landing also eh.. That’s really great.
Then the next thing that interests me is the toilet. The toilet can see through one leh.! There’s curtain inside to block the view.. Hair dryer is in the toilet drawer. The toilet even has the digital weighing scale there wor..
The wardrobe. Hmm..no proper doors, is a very unique design. The mirror can slide to hide the clothing.
Iron is available, there’s no need to call to make request for it. The mini fridge is hiding behind the mirror. Even umbrella is available as well.
King size bed. Total 6 pillows on the bed; 4 white ones are the 2 smaller green ones.
Toothbrush and toothpaste missing. Other that that, the room is bigger and have more items than I expected to see.
Unpacking some stuffs and place the Qin Tian WaWa to duty..When we try to take pic of her, she keep on turning her head to view outside. Really 敬责* She did a great job!
Gold theme. Partial gold stuffs.
Lunch
Went to B2 Kopitiam to eat. Than buy many packet drinks at NTUC and then proceed back to the room.

CHOCOLATES!! Yum yum~~~ dark and milk chocolates with gold dust. I ate 4 of them coz TYL don really like it!

3+ , Precious Moment Make Up Artist – Vivien came. I’m using my trial makeup. Hmm.. still have to spent momey though is Trial but i like the effects so everything is worth it!
There’s no dressing Table in the room, so i juz get a chair and sit infront of that moveable big mirror. Lucky Viven is petit so the area is still fine for her.
Mom has been hinting earlier and than finally burst out on 090909 on why i never ask the MUA to help her makeup as well.. Coz i feel that solemnisation only mah.. don need bah..Anyway, since mom wasn’t too happy over it, i called MUA @ 12+ but she nv pick up. Than when she came than i asked her, if she has enough time to makeup for my mom. she say it’ll be ok if my mom manage to come around 4. So i called mom to ask her to come now but then everything is too last minute , thus she couldn’t make it.
During the process of transformation, i was a little scare that it won’t turn out to be liking. The result is good, i totally love it. =)

I kinna Gan zhiong at this moment, but mom is more Gan zhiong than me. I saw her lips shivering…
Em.. for some time, i was blank.. i heard Mr Yeo talking but i wasn’t listening in details…Till TYL 搞笑 than i return..
i remember i heard him saying there’s 363 couples married today and he’s honor to be one of them to witness this. He’s really a nice guy.. we’re the ones honor to have him around..
The most entertaining part. Mr Yeo ask TYL" 你愿不愿意。。。。” and TYL ans " 是。。" Then Mr Yeo blurr and ask " 是不是原意。。”。 than he oh,nod his head and say " 我愿意"
Hold hands, look at each other and says the vows. We don’t have to memorise the vows earlier, simply repeat after Mr Yeo.
Than finally the wedding bands in use and Mr Yeo congrats us and we Thanks him.

Than i pass the pen to mom after i signed. She told me she already sign, i was shock.. Then later i know that our parents sign when we kissed earlier.

Our guests were brought to the function room for buffet while i return to the room to change my dress..
When i was leaving the poolside, chong asked me if i’m going to change my gown. I ans "yes!" and he seems shock. He says " wah.. solemnisation only also need to change ah, than the actual one, u intend to change how many times?" I juz smile and dono wat to ans..

Shuhua called us to come to the function room faster coz nobody dare to start to eat. So we rush down to the function room..
At this moment i very gan zhiong wan go inside and ask everyone to start but there’s many camera appeared and take pics for us.

Finally can eat. i waited for him to eat together.
he felt so hungry and i’m glad he still remember to call me along to go take food. =)
The montage was shown shortly after we eat. I was feeling so gan zhiong at this time..Couldn’t breathe normally. Don’t know if the montage if easy to understand or not. …I’m glad there’s respond over some of the scenes inside. =)

16 SepLong before Before 090909, when I know I really going to get marry..
After the proposal and booking of Crowne Plaza Hotel, I start to serve the wedding webbie. Start to think what to wear and what are the programs that we can have.
TYL asked me to wear Qi Pao. Er.. that’s really not my liking and not suitable for me. I rejected his idea but he keep on saying he’s view.

Countdown ticker is created and placed into blog since then..

The 1st one wasn’t too accurate as is using US timing..>
TYL suggested wedding favors is required. He found tons of webbie regards to it.
He also found the wedding pillow online and then we went to the shop and view it. TYL’s idea of gold theme came from this wedding pillow lo. The names and dates need extra charges.

1) Create a fan for all guest as my solemnization will be by the poolside, it gonna be hot..The fan can print the menu/ program/ guest’s name/ Our Thanks on it. Tie gold ribbon on it, and then place it on each chair.
This idea TYL didn’t take into consideration, he find it extra…
2) For the guestbk, ppl can take instant pics and write their wishes @ the bottom , than paste it on cardboard.
I’m glad this idea he agrees to it. We bought a gold guestbook and some stickers for guests to decorate it. We manage to borrow the instant camera from Lisa. Hee. Thanks Lisa.. We had great fun using it.

Job Scope- not plan, basically TYL handle everything, all the research and planning.
I just manage the stuffs which are my interest and make some contacts. Hee.

Reason Why i blog cartoon;
1) i don’t want my blog to be too wordy.. ppl will sian and don’t read.
2) there’s something i wan to say.. but i doesn’t know how to put into words.
3) i don’t want to be too clear on some issues..

He’s very encouraging, he keeps me ongoing and so i’ll try to remember scenes and cartoon blog to share them.
After some time, more drawings were created. March this year, i find that em.. maybe i can share them on Facebook to share with others. So i save all the drawings and upload to FB. TYL and andrew click "like". I’m happy wor.. Then Jonathan also tell me to draw faster, he wants to see new ones. =D . hee.
Making of the montage..
i keep on thinking if there’s anything interesting to add for our Solemnisation so that it wouldn’t be boring for everyone…
As dou dou is off peak car, i always reach office early. As usual i will see if there’s anything i can blog.. so i start my powerpoint and think….Since i going to ROM, why not i share our story using this instead.. so i start drawing everytime i reach office.
One of the day, when I draw the car and ask ZH how is it, he say that drawing looks like TYL and me in a microwave. Haha.. then I blurr, dono how to edit the drawing.. He ask me “where’s the ears?”, I “Huh?” and he says where’s the side mirrors for the cars.. Orh.. yap, I miss that, add it on and ask him how is it again. “Better. You have to pay me for me consultation fee” he jokingly says. (ZH is another couple getting marry on 090909. Congrats~!!! We share a lot of our info together. It had fun chatting with him on our coming event.)
On my Off day, montage done halfway @ office.. called Cecilia to send the file to my email so i can continue @ home. I wanted to surprise TYL with this on 090909. Upon completing, i was thinking that he might not like it (coz i always say wrong stuffs), so i decided to tell him that i’ve create a montage for our ROM. I thought he’ll be happy after viewing it… But he say "that montage is all abt u, ya views, nothing abt me". Actually i wanted to show him my views on him loh. Then he say ROM is abt the 2 of us, that powerpoint is abt u, then he told me he also done a montage too and he show it to me. Not totally completed yet..and he say "see, this is abt us.., that day is not yr day, is our day.." i’m speechless..

After converting the Powperpoint to video, ther’s an extra logo @ top left corner as the software is a trial one.
I’m sad..really sad.. Not a reaction i expected to see. No smile.. No gd comment and even say not suitable.. When i was doing it in office, i showed to maggie and jonas, they at least say my montage is something new and interesting, not the usual childhood montage they see.
Though he say not suitable.. I still continue to edit it. Even if not using it, i can still share with ppl who appreciate it..

Opening
Keeping in mind that we’re at the airport and thinking the slides Opening should have a plane, I start to search for plane pics and edit the plane to symbolize us into it and edit till it seems like we’re going to take off soon.
Content editing..
Keeping in mind that is abt us and thus add in 2 stories…
Story 1>
This is trying to say whenever I’m unhappy, without thinking, I’ll usually shoot the unhappiness towards TYL.
TYL will receive the info and analyse it and attack the problem.
Then I’ll notice the problem and than attack together..(he wasn’t too agree with the story.. he finds that he’s the only one attacking the problem)

This should be easy to understand…
Closing
Upon completion of the drawings, I have to do the Closing and end the slides..
Em.. that was easy.. coz last time I already draw >>
… so just have to copy and paste and mention we’ve reach the destination.. and then thanks the audience..
Slides Transition
Next, I was thinking that I shouldn’t stand there and click the slides… I remember I can let all slides run automatically. So I start to explore the functions in the power points again.
I used to play Powerpoint for my FYP presentation but after so many years, I’m getting rusty on powerpoint already… I’m glad it doesn’t took me much time to figure things out. I have 40 + slides to do. But I really enjoy playing with it.
Audio and continue editing slides..
Next, I have to place audio into it. The first one I use is from Christine Glass – My Love Will Get You Home. When I play the slideshow, I have problem focusing in the cartoon’s dialogs as the mp3 has human singing.. So I went to search midi instead.
I have to explore the audio functions to enable it to keep going on till the last slide, at first when I place the audio in, it will end at that particular slide. exploring the functions is fun whenever I successfully get the result I want. 
Showed it to kor and mom, kor say not bad but why there’s no mentioning of kids life.. I think for awhile.. and only manage to add in where we were born. I have no clue of his kids life.. Mom didn’t totally understand it coz is in English but she’ll smile at my drawings.
I like the midi from Namie Amuro – wishing on the same stars, which is abt 5 minutes, so I keep thinking and add slides to achieve 5 minutes. Upon completion, I find that is kinna lengthy thus I ask TYL normally montage should be how long, he told me 3 mins.. so I edit and cut off several slides to fit into 3 mins. Then search for suitable midi again…

Montage choosing and QA in process..
When we met Jesmi (Crowne Meetings Manager in-charge of our event) on 28 aug, TYL mention we’re going to play a montage, I have no idea which montage he wanna use, so when I asked him, he say decide later. I thought he didn’t want to reject my Powerpoint in such straight forward manner..
He asked me to show him the montage again ..So I showed him the 3 mins version, after viewing it, when he say will use this, I was shock. Coz he seems very much feel like using he’s and he put on the poker face when viewing. Didn’t even smile a bit when he view it.. 男人心，还低针。I couldn’t figure out his mind.. I keep on asking “ are u sure on using this? I thot u find it unsuitable?” He only say “ there’s several slides are too fast to be readable, need to edit.” well.. coz I squeeze into 3 mins.. than he say “ I think 4 mins is reasonable”
He asked me to make some changes and he also made several changes.
Changes like I only draw 1 baby- Dou Dou, and he ask to add in another for the Peak.,edited the fonts, the English, the timing..etc..
He also search for suitable audio..

The changes were nice but what’s scare me is he even made changes on 090909.. I wasn’t too approve of last minute changes..

12 SepFinally 090909 is over. There’s a lot I want to share, but many things couldn’t be reveal before the actual day.
22May09- Meet Our JP : Yeo Kok Pheow
Meet Our JP : Yeo Kok Pheow 5.30pm @ Expo to sign the Concent Form. That’s the first time we’ve met.
We have book him last year dec for 090909. He’s nice, easy going and friendly. I’m glad we have him for our important ceremony.

29 june09- Choose Gown @ my BS: Precious Moment & Purchase of wedding bands
My idea is to get a nice and cute tea dress. TYL create a gold theme for this event. PM doesn’t have much choice to fit in this theme. They all mention that as marching in is required, I should wear more formal- which is long gown. So in the end, I just choose the one which we find it suitable for the event. I didn’t like it. It was long and plain, boring. I didn’t hate it though, simple lo.

When I reach home, I keep on grumbling….It was not me.. not what I wanted. Though I also feel that it wasn’t that bad, as in the design.. erm… simple loh. So I told TYL I want to buy another one for dinner time. During the solemnization, I will wear the one from PM but will change to a tea dress during dinner. I wanted a nice tea dress so I can walk around easily. The long gown is really a hassle for me.
I called PM to ask if I want rent one more tea dress, is how much. She asks me is which one, I told her the brown one that I tried earlier, she told me will be $250 neg. I sian half lo, so I decided to buy one outside instead.
Date: forget. (a period of time)
Went shopping with mom many times, trying to search for a suitable tea dress. As I already have a gold gown from PM, I try to search for a black tea dress to match TYL as he intended to wear black shirt. It wasn’t easy to find one within budget and something I like. TYL keep on nagging that I waste money to get another one, but that’s a lifetime thing, I don’t want the rest of my life keep thinking that I didn’t wear something I like on my solemnization. He nagged few months but I might have grumble for lifetime due to this issue.
One day at Century Square (I forgot the shop name), this tea dress that caught my attention. Before I try it on, mom’s opinion: don’t know leh, go try and see. Ok. Tried. The size is M. is really big. I told the salesgirl I really like it but the size really cannot make it, about 14cm extra cloth. She told me tailor will do the trick and will solve my problem. She help me pin to my size and I saw she wrote a note for the tailor. The price is $85 (after 50% discount), the alternation fee is $14. Total $99! Less than $100 leh.. where to find such good lobang sia.
Before I got the dress, I was kinna worried over it, as it really gonna alter a lot and I didn’t even get to meet the tailor at all. When I went to collect and try on the dress, I was really amazed by the alternation work. It really fit me nicely. Felt so relieve and happy that I manage to find this dress.

28 Aug: Meet Crown Plaza Hotel in-charge; Jesmi(4pm)
Meet her to discuss the event stuffs. Things like choosing table cloth, setting up the area, time for setting up.. etc.

1 Sep: Hand bouquet materials
Went shopping with mom @ PS spotlight and Daiso to search for suitable materials for the hand bouquet. We already have to idea of using 9 Ferrero Rocher chocolates (coz gold theme) to make the hand bouquet. So we only need to find suitable papers and ribbons to match it.
2 Sep 09: Gown fitting session @ PM
It was a fast session. Try it on, they have altered it to my size nicely. So we basically took some photos, choose accessories and chit chat.
4 Sep 09: ROM (9.30am), Dye Hair(2pm)
Document Verification & Statutory Declaration @ ROM , 9.30am.
TYL took half day leave, i had swap my working day with jonas, thus I’m off for the day. We blurr blurr one loh, never take Q number and then went to the counter. Than @ the area for Q number, the in-charge ask us for a form which we doesn’t have. TYL actually “GIN” me when I say don’t have. Really spoil my mood. Don’t have the form is not my fault alone right. Lucky that form is supplied by them loh, it doesn’t matter if we didn’t bring it.
Home. online chit chat with my cousins before TYL go to work. They told me that I must highlight my hair as well since I going get my hair tied by makeup artist. It didn’t cross my mind that I should highlight as well leh, I only thought of dye a brown colour and that’s it. When TYL went to work, I went to TPY centre to search for a cheaper salon to dye my hair.
Decided to get t done @ Snip Avenue. The counter appointed an uncle to do my hair, but when he heard I going to dye, highlight, treatment.. he walk back to the counter and start complaining. I was kinna worried that he’s going to do my hair with his reluctant mood.
Glad the counter ask another Hair stylist: Nick to attend to me instead. He’s a patient guy, spent some time on choosing on color and he keep giving advise. I told him I only want to trim my hair, he also ask me if I want to slightly change my hair style with his haircut style. Well .. I’m ok with his suggestion and so proceeded with it.
One thing that I find it funny though.. his step on dyeing my hair.. 1) dye whole head, 2) treatment and then 3) highlight. I always thought Treatment is the last thing to do eh… I never ask him why, em. As long as result is good, I’m fine with it.
At the salon, I find it really nice. But later when I reach TYL’s home, I find the colour kinna too light. I would prefer it darker coz I’m not a fair complexion person. When I reached home, kor reaction >> WAH! WHAT HAPPEN TO YOUR HAIR!. Than I show to mom before I go to sleep, she also say not too nice. Kinna sad and worry my hair colour for ROM.

7 Sep 09: nails at Blissful Nails – Eva
Appointment 10am: Mom and me took 1 bus no. 3 from Tamp interchange. It was convenient for us as only require 1 bus to reach her home.
She start with my fingers and then toes and then back to fingers again. Before applying the nail polish, there’s several steps required sia. The design of my nails were called Acrylic Nails. She help mommy apply for the toes as well. Mom don’t want to apply on her fingers as she want to wash clothes later. Err.. well.. is I never told her the appointment time earlier to get her prepared in advance.
12pm +: Catherine reached also le. She Ta Bao duck rice and Koi Tea for us. Hee. She helps to take photo for the nails before we start to eat.
Mom wanna see how extension Nails work and thus we stayed longer to see Eva’s work on Catherine’s nails. Heard that extension has few types de. Nail Arts really is time consuming(as in there’s 10 nails to settle and each one gonna spent time is creating the design) and requires patient and precision sia.

8 Sep 09: packing stuffs.
Wanted to bai dad after kor’s work. When we reach there is already close. The operating hours is 7am to 7pm. No choice lo, we’ll go tml morning instead.
Nite time, packing the stuffs into 2 luggage bags. We still have to hand carry the speaker, the clothes, the lappy and the hand bouquet.
finish the making of the pens today..
oh yeah.. TYL become 洗头boy for me as my fingers nails are in protected mode. hee.

Heels Search : 180709- city plaza, 260709- OG
27 Jul180709 – Agnes told me that she bought her heels @ City Plaza. Told TYL i wanna go there to look for heels, so we went there lo. There got quite a number of ladies shoes and clothing stores wor.. kinna unexpected. I haven’t been there for many years. Dad used to bring me there when i was still a kid. The shoes not bad, cost abt 80+ on average.. But i thought it was kinna expensive.. My situation: Totally broke due to wedding band + bridal studio., so my budget set on shoes hopefully not more than $60.
260709 – Went OG today. Saw the heels that i like long time ago. Don remember if i take note on that price that time. So today i check out the price. ERM .. $120+ with 20% off. Sad. Without even trying the heels, i place it back. For a moment.. i was thinking how come i end up in this state.. sigh..
Still searching.. if unable to locate 1 within budget, then shall go back to 1 of them bah.
